Video Editor – Creative & News Media

BHE UNI is a leading UK education consultancy firm, supporting international students with university admissions, scholarships, and visa guidance for top UK institutions. In addition to our education services, we are launching a digital news media platform focused on impactful storytelling, educational news, and engaging video content. We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can handle both corporate marketing videos for BHE UNI and news/media-style content for our upcoming media portal.  

Key Responsibilities:

Edit professional promotional videos, event coverage, and student testimonials for BHE UNI. Edit news reports, interviews, documentaries, and feature stories for the news media platform. Add graphics, text overlays, subtitles, voiceovers, sound effects, and background music. Create engaging short-form videos optimized for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Ensure consistency in video quality, storytelling, and brand identity across platforms. Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and editorial teams. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.  

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communication, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Requirements:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects (2D/3D). Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or DaVinci Resolve will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition. Experience in editing corporate/marketing videos as well as news or media-style content. Clear understanding of Royalty-Free vs. Copyrighted materials. Knowledge of YouTube Content ID and Instagram Music policies, especially for business accounts. Skilled in color correction, audio balancing, and basic motion graphics. Familiarity with social media formats, trends, and platform-specific video requirements. Ability to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines. Basic camera operation and shooting experience (preferred).
