Access to HE Diploma courses is a one-year, Level 3 programme of study and is designed to prepare students for examinations at university. They are aimed at people who would like to study at a degree level but who left school without the usual qualifications, such as A Levels. Many Access to HE students go on to succeed at university and beyond, with many students pursuing new careers in various subjects.
Applicants must generally have 4/Cs or above in maths and English Language at GCSE (or equivalent). Selection is based on an interview and completing an initial assessment. A few universities will accept functional skills in maths and English for Social Work. However, it is your responsibility to check and provide evidence.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
