B.A. Art Education

Course Overview

The 120 credit hour Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education is designed for students who wish to become art teachers in grades K-12. Teacher candidates in the program will learn the content knowledge, pedagogical skills, and professional attitudes and dispositions to be outstanding art teachers at the K-12 level. Candidates will complete field-based assignments and placements in K-12 classrooms to provide authentic experiences necessary for the profession.
