... University of Malta

Course Overview

This program builds advanced knowledge in marketing communication planning, media writing, and brand strategy. Students study how organisations shape messages across print, broadcast, and digital platforms. Training includes campaign design, audience research methods, and evaluation of communication outcomes.

The course has grown with input from academic staff and industry practitioners who update content to reflect current communication practice. Students gain experience through project work linked with real organisations and case studies from international markets.

Graduates develop skills suitable for roles in advertising agencies, media organisations, corporate communication departments, and public relations firms. The program also supports progression into research or doctoral study in communication and media fields.

General Eligibility

Applicants need a recognised bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, media, or a related field. Some cases may accept other degrees with relevant experience. Academic transcripts, CV, and statement of purpose are required. Shortlisted candidates may attend an interview.

Scholarships are available through the University of Malta based on academic results and financial need. Some funding options also apply through government or EU-supported schemes. Application submission is done online through the university admissions portal with supporting documents uploaded in digital format.
