Course Overview
The Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science programs at NCEPU have developed over decades, reflecting the university’s commitment to quality science and technical education. These programs provide a solid foundation in environmental monitoring ideas and practice, covering air, water, and soil quality assessment methods alongside analytical tools and data interpretation. Through laboratory work, field sampling practice, and project‑based assignments, students build real skills connected to environmental observation and reporting systems. Graduates have gone on to join environmental monitoring centres, government departments, technical consulting firms, production and utility companies, and research institutes. Many also continue with postgraduate study in related fields, extending their academic grounding and capacity for applied environmental assessment work.
General Eligibility
Applicants must complete secondary education with science subjects such as chemistry, physics, or mathematics. International students apply through NCEPU’s admissions portal with academic transcripts, passport copy, language results, and a study plan. Scholarship options include the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) and other awards based on performance and eligibility criteria.

Language Requirement
International applicants typically must provide one of the following minimum scores:
• IELTS: 6.0
• TOEFL iBT: 80
• PTE Academic: 50
• Duolingo English Test: 95
If students do not meet these scores, the university may require preparatory language study.
