Course Overview

The Bachelor of International Tourism and Leisure was developed to meet the operational demands of global travel and destination management. General Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria:

• High school diploma or secondary education certificate equivalent to the Belgian Flemish secondary education standard.

• Demonstrated proficiency in English.

Application Process:

1. Submit an online application via the Thomas More international admissions portal.

2. Upload required documentation: passport ID, secondary school diploma, transcript of records, and English language certificate.

3. Pay the non-refundable application administrative fee.

4. Upon approval, receive the official letter of acceptance and proceed with tuition payment and visa processing.

Scholarships: Higher education tuition in Flanders is heavily subsidized by the government, keeping base costs structured for international students. Part Time Work Details

Non-EU students can work up to 20 hours per week during school terms with a valid Belgian residence permit (Type A) and work permit C. Full-time work is allowed during official academic holidays.

Language Requirement

• Applicants must submit proof of English language proficiency at a B2 level. Accepted standardized tests and minimum required scores include:

  • IELTS Academic: Minimum overall band score of 6.0

  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 79

  • PTE Academic: Minimum score of 59-65 (equivalent to CEFR B2)

  • Duolingo English Test (DET): Minimum score of 95 or higher
