... Schiller International University

Course Overview

The BSc in International Hospitality and Tourism Management gives students a four-year education covering hospitality operations, tourism, events, marketing, finance, sustainability and international business. The 120-credit program combines general education with specialist hospitality and tourism subjects. Students study Front Office Management, Food and Beverage Management, Convention and Event Management, E-Commerce, International Marketing and Sustainable Development.

The course has a practical focus through internships, field trips, industry workshops and projects. Schiller states that internships can begin from the first year, giving students early contact with hotels, resorts and tourism companies. Students can move between the Madrid, Paris, Heidelberg and Tampa campuses after the first year, subject to campus and program availability.

The university has six decades of educational experience and reports a student and alumni community representing more than 130 nationalities. Graduates can seek roles in hotels, resorts, tourism companies, event organisations, travel businesses, food and beverage operations and related international services.
