As an Agri-Food Technology student at ARU Peterborough, youll acquire important skills and experience, including a detailed understanding of crop and animal production systems. You will build your understanding of soils, water, and the atmosphere, which are essential for understanding the environment, and food production. Youll also gain a thorough grounding in the social, environmental, and business principles that underpin food security and sustainability. Working alongside industry you will see how data science, technology, and innovation help farmers and food companies become more sustainable and focus on current issues in food production and future impacts, looking at how we can address them while considering environmental protection and sustainability.
