On our Chemistry degree courses, you get to explore how the world works. Understanding the chemistry of materials means understanding the drugs that fight disease, the components that power modern tech, the pesticides that protect our crops, and much more besides. Opportunities exist for you to undertake research internships, working on innovative research projects in our state-of-the-art laboratories. For the first two years of this course, youll follow a similar learning path to our BSc program, then during your third and fourth years, the course steps up a gear. Youll focus on more advanced, masters level topics, with the option to specialize in either synthetic organic chemistry or materials/analytical chemistry.
