LLM in Legal Practice

Course Overview

Designed to act as a bridge between the academic study of law and the practice of law, the LLM in Legal Practice will enhance your legal knowledge and enable you to develop the skills and values necessary to become an effective and successful legal professional. This Masters degree course offers you the opportunity to gain an internationally recognized LLM qualification in addition to your LPC. Completing an LLM project will help you to develop the professional and reflective skills necessary for practice, expanding on your legal knowledge, legal application, and ability to critically analyze law, practice, and policy. Our LLM in Legal Practice will equip you for the demands of the legal profession and prepare you for a training contract and life as a solicitor. General Eligibility

A Qualifying Law Degree awarded at a minimum of 2:2 honors, or a GDL qualification, both awarded less than 7 years ago. Relevant professional qualifications or suitable experience will also be considered.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• International applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent).
