This course gives you a complete understanding of the commercial world through developing knowledge of international law and international business in tandem. The LLM prepares you for effective roles in the international law and business arenas either as practitioners or as academics, undertaking further research in this dynamic field. The course aims to develop your knowledge of core concepts and theories in international law and business as well as problem-solving skills, and academic and practice-based writing so you are equipped with skills for either life in academia or practice in the international law and business field. We have small classes that allow us to engage with you at a more personal level so we can work with you on developing your full potential.
This course will equip you with the necessary International Business Law knowledge and legal expertise and skills for international practice and academic research at the highest level, as well as for a wide range of other intellectually demanding roles such as; senior researchers or policy advisors for NGO’s, government agencies or private practitioners, commercial law practice, commercial business practice, NGO advisors, civil servants in the finance ministries and academics.
A 2:2 or above in an undergraduate Law degree or 2:2 or above in a joint honors degree where Law is a major component eg Finance and Accounting.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
