The BA (Hons) Sound and Music for Theatre is part of a suite of programmes for applied practice in professional industry contexts. The key features of these programmes are: A focus on Ideas, Creative Enterprise and Collaboration, a Portfolio of Transferable Skills, Professional Industry Projects
You will develop and apply a range of specialist technical and creative skills in sound and music production, working collaboratively within interdisciplinary projects modelled on professional practice in the theatre industry.
The principal focus of the Sound and Music for Theatre will be Music Composition and Production, Sound Design, Music Direction and Actor-Musicianship, and Sound Craft for Theatre, with some elements shared with other programmes in the suite.

We also welcome applications from students taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator and will assess the suitability, on a case-by-case basis.
In addition to one of the above, you should have the following:
GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English
We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications besides A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS score of 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking (or recognized equivalent).
