Course Overview

The future of financial transactions, applications, and management of finances is expected to be impacted heavily by fintech. We have already started to see the application of fintech e.g. cryptocurrency, crowdfunding, and mobile payment systems in the business world and the economy at large. As such, it is important for future graduates to understand the trends and innovations in the financial industry. Students choosing this pathway will have a good grasp of not only the foundations and applications of fintech but also of the strategic implementation of fintech in the business world and the economy at large.

The extended course is perfect if you want a degree in economics but you don't meet the standard entry requirements.

This course is designed to give students the opportunity to develop a firm knowledge of 'core' economic and finance concepts, theories, ideas, and tools and understand their application to a range of problems and relevance in a variety of contexts. Students will also learn about the strategic importance of fintech in businesses and how technology can be implemented and managed in a variety of business contexts.

We consistently review our courses to ensure we are up-to-date with industry changes and requirements from our graduates. As a result, our modules are subject to change.
