Course Overview

This professionally-oriented program is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence that are key to succeeding in the dynamic world of multinational companies and international financial markets. Alternatively, you might choose to use the skills and experience to work in the public sector or set up your own business. Our program is accredited by all the major accountancy bodies, providing graduates with exemptions from many of these bodies’ core examinations. This is a huge advantage as the exemptions will ease the process of becoming professionally qualified, allowing you more time to focus on developing your career.

Accounting and Finance play a crucial role in running a successful organization and contributing to economic growth. Accountants and finance professionals are needed in assessing revenues and expenditures, complying with regulations, and providing management, investors, government, and other stakeholders with key information for strategic decision-making purposes. At Bangor Business School, we have a highly qualified team of leading academics with professional experience and interests in a wide range of accounting and finance topics including international accounting and financial reporting, taxation, corporate finance, corporate communication, financial markets, and credit ratings. Our academic team is engaged in world-class research in accounting and finance and regularly works with policymakers in government, regulators, and think-tanks. They are dedicated to bringing their insights from the world of policy, research, and professional practice to help you to develop your knowledge and understanding, and realize your potential as an accounting and finance professional.
