Master of Construction Management

The Master of Construction Management is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry, including project management, building services, and sustainability. The program is tailored to meet the needs of professionals working in the industry, as well as those looking to start their careers in construction management. Students will gain practical experience through internships and real-world projects, preparing them for leadership roles in the field.

The program consists of 12 courses, including core and elective subjects. Students can choose from a range of specializations, such as building services, construction management, and sustainable building practices. The program also includes a research project or dissertation, which allows students to apply their knowledge and skills to a real-world problem.

The programme is aimed at construction professionals including engineers, quantity surveyors and architects.

One of the following with a B grade average or higher in level 7 courses:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree OR

• Relevant graduate diploma OR

• Relevant professional qualification or experience approved by the Dean (or representative) to be equivalent to at least a three-year bachelor’s degree

AND

• Relevant engineering or managerial work experience approved by the Dean (or representative) to be equivalent to one year of advanced study

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.
