Course Overview

Our dental assisting associate degree program is designed to help you become a dental assistant and prepare you for potential career advancement, including the dental hygienist career pathway.

• Available through our Minneapolis campus—for Minnesota residents

• Class topics include pre-clinical dental assisting, dental science, radiology, dental management, ethics, jurisprudence, and required general education courses

• Advance to dental hygienist faster: after earning an associate degree and becoming a dental assistant, you may transfer gen ed credit into a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene

General Eligibility

Prerequisites to enroll in the Herzing University Dental Assisting associate degree program include:

• Completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Meet and interview with a Herzing University admissions advisor

• Complete an enrollment application
