BSc (Hons) Nursing - Learning Disability with Foundation Year

This course is designed for students who want to pursue a career in nursing, but may need additional support due to learning difficulties. The foundation year provides an opportunity to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the nursing program. Students will learn about the principles of nursing practice, including how to assess, care for, and support individuals with learning disabilities. They will also gain an understanding of the legal and ethical frameworks that underpin nursing practice. On successful completion of the foundation year, students will progress to the three-year honours degree program.
