Course Overview
The programme focuses on chemical engineering skills linked with energy systems and industrial processes. Students study how energy carriers such as hydrogen, biofuels, and electricity interact with chemical production systems. Learning includes simulation tools, lab experiments, and project-based assignments tied to industrial cases.
LUT University has built strong recognition in energy-related engineering education and research. The programme connects students with ongoing research work and industrial collaboration in areas such as carbon reduction, process efficiency, and energy system design. Graduates move into energy companies, process industries, and engineering consultancies, working in roles that involve design, analysis, and optimization of chemical and energy systems.
General Eligibility
Applicants need a relevant bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, energy engineering, or a related field. Strong background in mathematics, chemistry, and engineering subjects is required. Academic transcripts, degree certificates, CV, motivation letter, and proof of English proficiency form part of the application package.
