Diploma Automotive Service Technology

The Diploma in Automotive Service Technology at Vancouver Community College provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the automotive industry. The program covers all aspects of automotive service, including engine repair, brake systems, electrical systems, and suspension and steering. Students will also learn about the latest technologies and trends in the industry, such as electric vehicles and autonomous driving. Our experienced instructors will guide students through hands-on training and classroom instruction to ensure they are prepared for a career in the automotive service industry.

Additional Information

The program is designed to be completed in 2 years and consists of 60 credits. Students will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including a fully equipped service bay and a vehicle inspection area. Graduates of the program will be eligible to write the Province of British Columbia's Automotive Service Technician certification exam.
