Course Overview

For businesses to survive and grow, responding to change and innovating is crucial. Our new BSc in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship gives you the opportunity to develop the skills you will need to manage innovations and digital transformations in organizations. This course will also help develop your entrepreneurial skills to support new, start-up businesses.

This business innovation and entrepreneurship degree links research expertise - showcased by our Centre for Innovation Management Research - with teaching. It is also designed to respond to the changing educational, cultural, personal, and career needs of our students.

After successfully completing the BSc Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, you will also be ready for further study on one of the master’s degree courses at Birkbeck: MSc Business Innovation and MSc Business Innovation with E-Business.

General Eligibility

UCAS TARIFF POINTS

96-128 points (e.g. A-levels CCC-ABB)

The UCAS tariff score is applicable to you if you have recently studied a qualification that has a UCAS tariff equivalence. UCAS provides a tariff calculator for you to work out what your qualification is worth within the UCAS tariff.

GCSES

You will normally be expected to have grade C or grade 4 GCSE-level English and mathematics.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, our usual requirement is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 6.5, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.
