Course Overview
The MSc in Sustainable Science and Solutions at LUT University builds knowledge in environmental systems, resource use, and climate-related problem solving. The curriculum includes environmental modelling, renewable energy systems, and circular economy methods. Students work with data analysis tools, laboratory methods, and project-based assignments connected to real environmental cases.
LUT University has strong links with research groups and organisations working on energy transition and environmental planning. These links support thesis work and project tasks based on real data and current challenges in resource use and emissions reduction.
Graduates move into roles in environmental consultancy, energy planning, sustainability analysis, and public sector work related to climate and resource management. The programme also supports research pathways for those interested in doctoral studies in environmental science or related fields.
