Course Overview

Our Physics MRes gives you advanced research skills and knowledge in physics and prepares you for a Ph.D. or a career in a commercial research and development (R&D) environment. Our Physics MRes gives you: advanced research skills and knowledge in physics problem-solving skills quantitative analysis knowledge You'll be suitable for the program if you have a BSc in physics, or a closely related subject such as mathematics, chemistry, or engineering. A major part of the program is to work within a research group. You'll employ modern techniques and equipment to tackle a problem of fundamental or technological importance.

General Eligibility

A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in: physics mathematics electrical or electronic engineering a related subject such as mechanical engineering, computer science or chemistry
