Course Overview

Our Direct Entry MSN program is designed for those who have already earned a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing major.

  • Learn online in Herzing’s Everywhere Classroom: on your schedule, at your pace

  • Our adaptive learning approach allows students to engage with learning material in various formats, facilitating engaging online interactions with immediate feedback.

  • Class topics include Pathophysiology & Pharmacology, Scholarly Practice, Mental Health Nursing, Nursing Informatics, Healthcare Technology, Population Health, and much more.

  • Access to extensive virtual services, including academic advising, tutoring, technical support, support services, and library services

Upon graduation, you will be prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and become an MSN-prepared RN.

General Eligibility

Prior education: Evidence of graduation from a non-nursing bachelor’s degree program awarded by an accredited institution of higher education

Minimum GPAi: 3.0 GPA

Entrance testing: Aggregate score of 66 on the Test of Essential
