Course Overview

Graduate with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) concentration from Herzing University, and you’ll be qualified for the Board Certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC) exam from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

• Full-time and part-time options for enrollment, with dedicated study in telehealth and remote patient care services

• Clinical experience across the lifespan: find your professional emphasis with clinical experience featuring pediatric, adult, and geriatric care. Every experience counts.

• Prepare to sit for ANCC certification and become a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner upon successful completion.

This program is designed for Registered Nurses (RNs) who currently hold an associate degree in nursing (ADN, ASN, or AASN). Our 24-month MSN-PMHNP program is built for current BSN nurses.

General Eligibility

• You must live in a state where Herzing University is authorized to offer the RN to MSN-PMHNP program.

• Hold a current, active, and unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN) in the same state where they practice.

• Hold an associate degree in nursing (ADN/ASN/AASN) from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university.

• Participate in an interview to identify your goals and determine if the program is right for you
