Our Strength and Conditioning Master’s provides the theory, knowledge and skills you need to pursue professional accreditation with a number of bodies including the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES); the United Kingdom Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA); and appropriate higher coaching awards (Level 3 or above).
You explore a range of approaches - including strength and conditioning, testing physical capacities, sport science support and laboratory work – and assess their contribution to helping athletes increase performance. Areas of study may include: advanced strength and conditioning; sport science support; exercise and nutrition prescription; and cardiopulmonary exercise testing and interpretation.
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree at the Honours level or equivalent.
To apply for a postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) at the University of Bedfordshire you should have a good honors degree (or equivalent qualification) in an appropriate subject from a recognized university or HE institution.
We will also consider candidates with other relevant qualifications or appropriate work experience.
