MA/PgD/PgC in Sport, Ethics and Society Masters

... Cardiff Metropolitan University

Course Overview

Awareness and knowledge of social issues by specialists in the field of sport is increasingly in demand where there is an interest in people. Sports sociologists and ethicists are sought after in a range of sport-related occupations: national governing bodies, community sports development programmes, management of sport/leisure facilities in the private sector, sports administration roles and sports media.

Further, this programme is ideal for those with aspirations of a research career or continued study at PhD level and fosters a range of transferable skills. Indeed, many of our students go on to study a PhD research programme before (and while) working inside academia as lecturers, tutors and researchers.
