Course Overview

The BEng Electronic Engineering program aims to produce creative graduates, knowledgeable, have perspective, and are professional in their approach. This electronic engineering top-up degree is ideal for students qualified for the Higher National Diploma (HND) level in electronic engineering and who want to further their educational development to degree level and beyond.

This program will allow students to develop the knowledge, understanding, and cognitive and technical skills to work and research in electronic engineering. The program focuses on analog and digital electronics, Signal processing, and emerging technologies in electronic engineering. Graduates can design, integrate, and develop technological solutions for generating electronic engineering systems. The program provides a coherent curriculum that develops problem-solving, professional development, and transferable skills required to work in electronic engineering and related industries.

General Eligibility

• This electronic engineering top-up degree is for students qualified for Higher National Diploma (HND) in the general area of electronic engineering (FHEQ – L5)

• Merit pass (or equivalent) for all modules at level 5 HND in Electronic Engineering subjects.
