Course Overview
The International Year One in Business and Management has built a strong route for students who want to enter a UK business degree without starting from the first year. Over time, the course has added more subject options and improved teaching support to match university standards.
Students complete modules that link directly to Year 2 study. This helps reduce the gap between pathway and degree level. Many students progress each year into business programmes at the University of Bradford.
The course focuses on academic writing, presentations, and group work. These skills are used in later study and in jobs. Access to university facilities and support services helps students adjust to a new study system. Graduates move forward with clear subject knowledge and the confidence to continue their degree in business and management.
General Eligibility
Students need a high school qualification that is equal to UK A-level standard but may not meet direct entry for Year 1. This course is designed as a bridge to Year 2 entry.
Applications can be made through the college or approved agents. Students must submit academic records and proof of English level.
Scholarships may be offered as fee reductions for international students. These are often based on academic results. Some offers are automatic at the time of admission.
