Course Overview
A Pharmacy program provides students with a base in biological sciences applied to medicine and related products. Students learn how biological systems are used to produce, test, and control quality in medicines and related biological products. Over time, similar programs have expanded by adding updated lab work, guided projects, and links with industry partners.
Students work on laboratory techniques such as genetic analysis, fermentation methods, and biological testing. They may join internships at biotech firms or testing labs in China or abroad. This supports preparation for technical roles or for further study.
Graduates often pursue careers with biotechnology companies, medical testing units, pharmaceutical production sites, and quality assurance departments. Others continue into postgraduate study, which can open paths to research roles or advanced jobs in biotechnology and bio‑industry sectors.
