The Chinese Language Program at HDU began to meet rising demand from international students seeking Mandarin skills. Over time, the program expanded its course levels, teaching hours, and learning materials. Many students have completed the program and moved into degree studies at Chinese universities or roles that require Chinese communication.
The program maintains stable academic standards through trained instructors and updated course content. HDU has hosted a large number of international language learners, building academic links across regions. Cultural programs and campus activities support language growth and social adjustment. The one-year structure gives students enough time to reach practical language ability and prepare for further study or professional plans connected to China.
Applicants must hold a valid passport and have completed secondary education. Applications are submitted online through HDU or approved representatives. The Chinese Government Scholarship and HDU internal scholarships are available for selected students. Selection depends on academic records and application review. Medical clearance and a valid study visa are required before enrollment.
