BSc in Electronic Information Engineering

Course Overview

The Electronic Information Engineering programme at NUIST has built a solid structure combining theory and hands-on engineering practice. Students go through rigorous coursework — from circuit analysis and signal processing to embedded systems and information system design — and get substantial lab experience through many specialised facilities (e.g. microwave labs, electromagnetic labs, sensor labs, satellite navigation-related labs) maintained by the School of Electronic and Information Engineering. The English-taught track and international-student support make the programme accessible to a global student body. Scholarships and preparatory intake options ease entry for international applicants. The degree from NUIST is globally recognized, thanks in part to its high rankings in engineering and related disciplines under ESI.  Graduates are prepared for roles in electronic design, system integration, communication technology, meteorological instrumentation, research, development, as well as further graduate study.

General Eligibility

• Applicants should hold (or expect to hold) a high-school diploma and demonstrate good academic performance. 

• Required application materials: passport copy, high-school certificate/transcript (or expected graduation notice), English proficiency score (if required), bank statement, non-criminal record, study plan, and other documents in English or Chinese. 

• Scholarships offered: e.g. NUIST Excellent Freshmen Scholarship (full or 50% tuition waiver for outstanding freshmen), plus other possibilities such as Chinese Government Scholarship, provincial or municipal scholarships.

Language Requirement
