Typical civil engineering roles include construction project management, building/civil engineering for contractors or consultants, architectural practices, local authorities or government agencies.
Our graduates are employed by companies such as Aker Solutions, Amey, Atkins Global, Arup, Bauer, Interserve, Jacobs, WSP Group, Turner & Townsend, and several city and borough Councils, including York, Bradford and Stockton-on-Tees.
You gain practical industry experience through site visits and fieldwork, preparing you for the world of work. Recent students have visited mines and bridge construction sites.

Any combination of recognised Level 3 qualifications. Each application is considered on a case-by-case basis. We look for evidence of your ability to learn and commitment to succeed in your studies.
Part Time Work Details
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
