Medical breakthroughs such as the Human Genome Project have made it possible to identify the genes associated with many cancers and inherited disorders. With our BSc (Hons) Pharmaceutical Science degree course, you can join the next generation of scientists applying new knowledge to create new treatments and interventions. 

Accredited by the Royal Society of Biology, the course is perfect if you would like to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. With is combination research-focused learning and laboratory-based delivery, the course is recommended if you want a career in research, teaching and related professional fields such as animal health, food science, cosmetic science, in medical laboratories, technical sales, patent law and scientific journalism.

You will:

General Eligibility

GCSE

English language and mathematics at grade C or 4 or above. Equivalents are accepted.

You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• The IELTS score for international applicants is 6 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
