Master's of International Business

... Spain
... Schiller International University

Course Overview

The MBA at Schiller International University is built around business subjects that cover finance, marketing, operations, management, human resources, business law and international business. The 12-month format allows students to complete 36 American credits, equal to 72 ECTS, through an accelerated study plan.

The program connects classroom learning with business simulations, consulting projects, company visits, entrepreneurship activities and sessions led by business professionals. Students can study at four international campuses and transfer between them during their studies, subject to availability.

Schiller has operated in international education for around 60 years and reports more than 20,000 alumni from more than 130 nationalities. Its MBA gives students access to a multinational student community and an international alumni network. The university's partnerships with companies such as EY, Airbus, SAP, IBM and Deloitte provide further opportunities for professional exposure.

An optional dual-degree route with the University of Roehampton gives eligible MBA students the opportunity to earn a second UK degree after completing the required additional thesis and academic requirements.

General Eligibility

Applicants for the MBA need an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification. International applicants must provide documentation proving completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Applicants with qualifications from institutions that are not recognized in the United States may need an official foreign transcript evaluation through an accepted evaluation organization.

Schiller also states that applicants should have a good academic record in their undergraduate degree. Depending on the student's previous field of study, some prerequisite courses may be required.

Application Process

The current application process includes:

  1. Complete the online application form.
  2. Provide personal details, preferred campus and program information.
  3. Submit a passport or official ID.
  4. Submit undergraduate academic transcripts and degree documents.
  5. Provide a CV.
  6. Complete the online readiness test.
  7. Submit the required English-language certificate, where applicable.
  8. Pay the required deposit.
  9. Complete the virtual academic interview.
  10. Receive the final admission decision and Unconditional Offer Letter.
  11. Apply for a student visa if required.

Schiller recommends that international students begin the application process well before their intended intake.
