Our BSc (Hons) Nursing (Mental Health) degree will prepare you to deliver compassionate and evidence-based care to adults and children with acute and complex mental healthcare needs. As a mental health nurse, you might work in a hospital, clinic, or community, providing support and treatment. Wherever you work, you’ll care for people with a diverse range of health conditions.
Take part in practical learning placements and simulated scenarios throughout the course to boost your hands-on experience and apply the theory. Study biological, psychosocial, and pharmacological factors, as well as core anatomy and assessment skills.
We are happy to accept IB qualifications that achieve the required number of UCAS Tariff points.
Access to Higher Education Diploma 45 credits at Level 3, for example, 9 credits at Distinction and 36 credits at Merit or 15 credits at Distinction and 30 credits at Merit. The required total can be attained from various credit combinations.
