... United Kingdom
... Teesside University

Course Overview

A diverse range of career opportunities are available within the NHS and private sectors in the UK and overseas. This course has prepared the apprentice for the challenges and demands of contemporary and future nursing, health and social care practice. It also provides a stepping stone for the apprentice to develop further their nursing practice, leadership, research, education and consultancy expertise.

The range of placements provides diverse and rewarding learning experiences. Orders may not be near your home or within your local trust or organisation. You are expected to travel to different areas if unable to gain experience in your place of employment.

Both practice and theory learning experiences enable you to explore the service user’s journey, developing your knowledge and understanding of nursing and healthcare needs within services across the age continuum.
