Among the fastest-growing industries in the UK, aeronautical and aerospace engineering offers a range of career prospects in research and development, testing, and maintenance. So we’ll train you in everything you need to know, looking outside of traditional aerospace boundaries, and focusing on the future flight where you’ll explore novel propulsion and drone technology.
Sustainability is a particularly pertinent issue for engineers as many products are designed to have a short lifespan. That’s why we teach you sustainable design which facilitates the re-use, re-purposing, or recycling of materials and components – it’s the focus of one of your first-year projects and we have a whole module dedicated to it in your final years.
You’ll be learning from the best, with our expert lecturers and researchers who have extensive aerospace industry experience. Additionally, you will work on live industry projects and hear from guest speakers, both on campus and on company visits, to gain the latest knowledge of trends and techniques.
