The structure of our society – roads, bridges, tunnels, railroads, dams, and airports – all depend on the skill of civil engineers. To a large extent, so does the health, safety, and welfare of the individuals in that society. Civil engineers have saved more lives, through clean water and sanitation systems, than all of the doctors in history.
In the University of New Haven’s B.S. in civil engineering program, students participate in a multi-disciplinary curriculum that combines mathematics, science, communication, humanities, and social science with a broad base of civil engineering technologies.
