This is a standard academic process to ensure the content of a course is up to date with current research and academic thinking and is also relevant to the requirements of the potential employment marketplace. The Introductory Certificate in Counselling focuses on developing counselling skills by providing a solid foundation in the key aspects of the discipline. It introduces students to counselling theories and practice as well as to the ethical and professional context of counselling in the UK.
No formal academic qualifications are required. Please note, there is an 80% attendance requirement for this course.
