Politics confronts the big issues that affect societies the world over. Youll get an overview of the British political system as well as examining some of the most complex problems faced by humanity and the ideas that underpin them. The MA degree means you study Politics alongside other subjects from History to Geography, languages to Psychology. At Levels 3 and 4 you will be able to specialize. During your Politics degree, youll develop the ability to think critically about outcomes and learn how to locate, analyze, and compare information to support or challenge those outcomes. We are a small and friendly department, but you can choose from a diverse range of subjects with very few compulsory modules. Each lecturer focuses on teaching specialist areas in which they have an established track record of research.
