Examine key ideas about what it means to be human and the events and developments which have shaped humanitys world. This course is for those who want to ask deep questions about what it means to be human, to explore other peoples answers to those questions, and the ways that theyve shaped actions and society in particular times and places. Our students dont just study what others have said, or learn names and dates €“ they are philosophers and historians, investigating and interpreting evidence and ideas for themselves, in order to understand individual, social and cultural identities.
