Our MMath Mathematics course is a challenging four-year course that takes you to a masters-level work. It is designed for those who want to study in more depth or who might want to use advanced mathematics in their careers or research. You can choose to specialise in a particular aspect of mathematics or study courses from across the broad range offered by the department.
Your learning will be shaped by inspirational and internationally-renowned academics, including Prof Vitaly Moroz, Professor of Mathematics and expert in analysis and partial differential equations, and Dr Nelly Villamizar, Senior Lecturer, who is a researcher in the applications of algebraic geometry.
General Eligibility
A level: AAB-ABB including Mathematics.
Welsh Baccalaureate: Requirements are for A levels where you can substitute the same non-subject specific grade for the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Level Core Grade.
BTEC: DDD any subject plus A Level Mathematics Grade B.
Scottish Highers: AABBB to include A in Mathematics.
International Baccalaureate: 34 with 6 in Higher Level Mathematics.
Part Time Work Details
Twenty hours of work permit weekly for international students.
