We have experienced careers guidance officers in the Lifelong Learning Centre who are able to provide bespoke advice and guidance for our students, focusing on your career development and employment opportunities in the local and regional area. You will be provided with regular updates on local employment opportunities. You will also be supported with your job search, interview skills, and writing CVs and applications.
A-level:
3 A-level passes or equivalent e.g. CACHE level 3
GCSE: English and Maths grade C/4 or equivalent.
T Levels will be considered on a case by case basis.
Other course specific tests:
Applicants must also be engaged in relevant work (paid or voluntary) with a minimum of 4 hours of contact each week.
We actively encourage applications from mature students, those who will be over 21 at the point of entry. Further consideration will be given to the life experience of mature applicants and the circumstances in which they gained prior qualifications. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic or IELTS for UKVI (United Kingdom Visas and Immigration) (Academic) or IELTS Online at 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each component skill. Please note that we cannot accept results from these tests that are over two years old at the start date of the course you intend to study.
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test) or TOEFL iBT Home Edition at 80 overall with no less than 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, and 19 in writing. Please note that we do not accept TOEFL My Best scores and we expect candidates to have met the relevant requirements from a single TOEFL test.
