Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Power Plant Technologies provides mechanical engineering graduates with an in-depth technical understanding of advanced mechanical engineering topics relevant to the power generation industry. You’ll also develop generic skills that allow you to contribute effectively to developing company capabilities.
It helps make you more employable and satisfies the further learning requirements necessary to obtain Chartered Engineer status.
It is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and provides a route to achieve Chartered Engineer status.
Academic requirements/experience
Typically, a first-class or second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in engineering, physical sciences, or equivalent professional qualification. A lower-class degree may be considered with relevant work experience.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
