The Department of Mathematics is located on the Universitys Exton Park (Parkgate Road) site in Chester. This modern learning environment has been designed with the aim of maximising the employability of our graduates. Staff actively encourage a high level of student involvement in the teaching and learning process. Small year-group sizes allow for a more personal learning experience for our students. This course will meet the educational requirements of the Chartered Mathematician designation, awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications when it is followed by subsequent training and experience in employment to obtain equivalent competencies to those specified by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for taught Masters degrees.
