Course Overview

To this degree, you will specialize in the metabolic and cellular changes associated with cancer at a molecular level. You will explore tumor formation and disease progression and analyze contemporary treatment strategies. We will give you the scientific knowledge and laboratory skills needed to investigate, diagnose, monitor, and treat diseases. At the start of your course, you will study normal human biology and explore microbiology and immunology. This will give you detailed knowledge of what causes disease and how it affects us. Your first-year modules are the same as our Biomedical Science course, giving you a broad scientific foundation.

General Eligibility

104 UCAS Tariff points 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 (or equivalent) including English Language, Maths, and Double Integrated Science (or equivalent).
