The environment is becoming a global issue and international development is linked to the economics of natural resources including energy demand. Resource management has become critical to the operation of both large and small organizations. The public and private sectors require staff with detailed environmental knowledge at the regional, national, and international levels. Businesses are increasingly looking outside Europe to Asia and the Americas to inform their best practices and maintain market share. The course is designed as a direct response to growing industry demand and a shortage of skilled workers with this crucial knowledge across a range of disciplines and professions.
