Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree but dont have the necessary formal qualifications to directly enter their chosen Honours degree program. This course draws on knowledge from all the necessary strands of engineering. Youll develop robotic and mechatronic systems for a range of applications including modern manufacturing, aerospace, and the nuclear industry. Youll graduate with a wide skills base but we place a particular emphasis on complex systems for teleoperated, semi-autonomous, and autonomous robots. Youll incorporate aspects of sensing, control theory, computational intelligence, and computing in your learning.
