Course Overview

In this course youll study the human body in both normal and altered states, looking at the development of disease and how we use drugs to combat such disease. Its ideal if youre thinking about a career in the pharmaceutical industry €“ drug testing, drug research, drug design and development, lab work or other bioscience-based professions. Foundation Entry degree courses like this one are ideal if youve got the ability to study for a degree but you dont have the qualifications needed to directly enter the full honours degree programme. During the foundation year, well equip you with the essential knowledge and understanding of theoretical and practical science skills youll need to succeed at the degree level.
