Course Overview

This course brings together aspects of two of our degrees to offer a programme thats full of possibilities. It covers a comprehensive range of topics, from quantum physics to the structure of the universe. As such, youll gain an in-depth knowledge of the laws of physics, and of the stars and galaxies, together with mathematical skills and practical laboratory experience. Its a popular route if you want to keep your options open, as it not only provides a solid base you can build on with further study but also comes with the chance to switch your focus to one of our other physics-based courses. You could even take the sandwich year option, by adding a years study abroad or working on a placement as part of your degree.

General Eligibility

UCAS: 128 points at A2 including a minimum of AB in Physics and Maths BTEC Extended Diploma: Only considered with Maths and Physics A2 Level grades AB Pass Access Course: 128 points including 15 Level 3 credits at D in Maths and Physics International Baccalaureate Diploma: 128 points from Higher Level subjects including Higher Level 5/6 Maths and Physics IELTS: Grade 6 with no component lower than 5.5 GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
